Few clubs have made as spectacular an ascent through the Western Australian Amateur Football League’s grades as did Cockburn Lakes between 1984 and 1988. Commencing in G Grade, the Warriors won five successive premierships to find themselves in B Grade by 1989. The club, which in 2009 competed in D Grade, has since added another couple of C Grade flags.
