During half a century of involvement in the MMFL Lalbert contested a total of fourteen senior grade grand finals, half a dozen of which were won. The triumphs came in 1952 at the expense of Woorinen, 1964 versus Tyntender, 1966 against Lake Boga, 1976 and 1992 (Woorinen), and 1996 (Swan Hill). Since commencing in the Central Murray Football League in 1997 the club has not added to its senior premiership tally. With the exception of a solid 2005 campaign that produced a 9-9 record recent seasons have been something of a struggle although the wooden spoon has, at least, been avoided. Where now? or |
